Mesa, to the southeast of Phoenix, sits atop a plateau overlooking the Valley of the Sun.

Arizona's third largest city, Mesa has a strong economy with at least 30 Fortune 500 companies having a presence there.

The city has many community facilities: six museums, three libraries, 11 theaters, 52 parks, 11 swimming pools, 21 golf courses and over 250 tennis, basketball and racquetball courts.

Mesa also boasts a symphony, city band, the Sonoran Desert Chorale, the Mesa Caledonian Pipe Band, a Shakespeare Theatre Company and the Mesa Little Theatre.
